Dr. Mahmoud Admed ElSohly is an internationally recognized expert in the field of forensic toxicology. Dr. ElSohly posses a Ph.D in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, a B.Sc as well as an M.Sc. in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Cairo University, in Cairo, Egypt. He is a Board Certified Forensic Examiner, and is also Board Certified in Forensic Medicine. Currently he is President and Laboratory Director of ElSohly Laboratories, Inc, a Research Professor at the National Center for Natural Products Research as well as a Professor of Pharmaceutics for the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi. He also serves as the Project Director at the National Institute on Drug Abuse Marijuana Project, at the University of Mississippi. Dr. ElSohly is a highly valued member to a number of different institutes and associations, few major ones include, the American Chemical Society, the International Cannabinoids Research Society as well as the Society of Forensic Toxicologists. Over the past 25 years Dr. ElSohly has had papers presented at approximately 60 meetings, over 250 articles in scientific publications, and senior author on over 20 patents. He has presented at more than 200 scientific meetings of professional societies, and was also recognized by the The Scientist and Science watch as the second-most cited author in forensic sciences in the world for 1981-1993.
